  • Go to Xbox.com and select Sign in

  • Select Redeem code
  • Enter the code that consists of 25 characters, click next and confirm one last time. Have fun!
  • How Does Gifting Game Keys Work In General

Actually you have the possibility to get game codes from other people. This means that someone from Turkey, for example, can buy a game as a game code from Microsoft and give or sell it to you. So you don’t have to fight with restrictions yourself and can simply negotiate with the “gifter”.

We have set up a Discord-Channel for this purpose, where you can talk to gifters and ask them to buy anything for you. The gifter of course wants to have something for his work and usually sets the price higher than indicated on the website, but then the games are usually still cheaper than elsewhere. You can ask for prices without obligation if you want.

Add Your Account To The Secondary Xbox

This can seem a little complicated but its pretty simple. For this example, Person A owns Xbox A, and Person B owns Xbox B. Person A would like to share their Game Pass subscription with Xbox B, while still retaining the ability to play on Xbox A.

The first thing to do is to add Person As account to Xbox B. You can do this by pressing the Xbox button, moving to the Profile and System tab, and selecting Add or Switch followed by the Add New button. Sign in with your username and password to add it to Xbox B.

    Argentina And Turkey Special Handling

Argentina and Turkey are really special these days. Even if you’re successful redeeming your gift code you might face problems when the actual purchase takes place. Even if you use a VPN while trying. So if you get problems during the purchase, the only solution is to wait for at least 72hrs until you try again. It is really important, that you don’t try to purchase anything again until the 72hrs are over. Else the block you might got from Microsoft won’t be removed! So keep calm, be patient, wait for 72hrs and THEN try again!

Game Pass Not Launching Games On Xbox Or Pc

Game Pass games can be launched through the Xbox App on PC and directly on Xbox. So on a PC, it eventually comes to the Xbox App, while on the Xbox console, you will have to work through the console settings, including resetting it.

  • Reconnect with the Microsoft account
  • Reset or Repair Xbox App
  • Restart Gaming Service
  • You will need an admin account to execute some of these suggestions.

    On Xbox

How To Convert Your Xbox Live Service To Game Pass Ultimate

    • To get in on this complimentary conversion, youll first need to buy an Xbox Live Gold subscription . Microsoft may end the sale of Xbox Live Gold at some point as it funnels players into buying Game Pass Ultimate. But, for now, you can still buy digital codes for the service from Amazon and other retailers in three-, six-, or 12-month increments.
    • The next step is to activate the Xbox Live Gold codes on your account, either through Microsofts website or directly through your Xbox One or Series X / S console. Microsoft states that the terms of this promotion are subject to change, so Id do this sooner than later as theres no indication if it may one day stop converting Xbox Live Gold into Game Pass Ultimate.

Once you buy the $1 Game Pass Ultimate trial, your prepaid months of Xbox Live Gold will automatically convert.

    • Its now safe to take advantage of the $1 Game Pass Ultimate trial. Once you redeem the offer, youll see something similar to the image above when you click the Services & subscriptions tab of your account on Microsofts site.

While this conversion is not possible with PC Game Pass, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan covers both Xbox and PC. That makes this conversion from Xbox Live Gold an even better value if you play on both platforms.

Update May 16th, 2022, 11:23AM ET: This article was originally published on June 18th, 2019, and has been updated to reflect the current offer.

Set The Secondary Xbox As The Home Console

With Person As account active, its time to make Xbox B the Home console so that Person B can access the library. To do this head to Settings > General > Personalization and select the My Home Xbox button.

Check the button at the bottom of the screen that says Make This My Home Xbox and wait a moment. Once complete, all accounts on Xbox B should be able to take advantage of Person As subscriptions and access their game library too.

Xbox Game Pass Pc Gaming Services Error Fix 2021

In some rare cases, the troubles could be from the other side of the wire. Xbox Live servers aren’t perfect and sometimes have outages themselves. When this is the case, there isn’t much you can do except wait for Microsoft to fix the servers.

One helpful step is to recognize that this is beyond your control so that you don’t go on messing around with the network settings in hopes of fixing the “The person who bought this needs to sign in” error. You can check the Xbox Live server status through the Xbox Status webpage. A red sign next to Account & profile or Store & subscription could mean that the issue is on Xbox’s side.

Xbox Store: How To Fix ‘oops Not Sure What Happened There’ Error

The Xbox storefront used to purchase games, DLC and in-game purchases, movies, TV shows, gaming hardware and accessories, and more, is powered by the greater Microsoft Store. While overall delivering an information-rich and reliable experience to most players, the Xbox Store does have its fair share of inconsistencies and errors. One of the most annoying is an error message that reads, “Oops. Not sure what happened there.”

This error code can be difficult to figure out, and can prevent players from purchasing the best Xbox games. Here’s everything you need to know about this frustrating error, and potential ways to fix it or resolve the problem altogether.

Make Sure Youre Connected To The Internet

I am trying to upgrade my gold subscription to game pass ultimate, but ...

Xbox isn’t keen on offline gaming and this means some things won’t function properly if you’re gaming offline. So it’s good practice to make sure you’re connected to the Xbox Live servers, especially when you’re getting the “The person who bought this needs to sign in” error.

    • Go to Settings and then navigate to Network.
    • Select Network settings.
    • From the network settings, select Check Internet connection. A dialog will pop up and Xbox will run a few tests to see if you’re online or not.
    • If the dialog says you’re connected to the internet, then all is well. Otherwise, follow the instruction on the screen to diagnose and fix the issue with your connection. If you’re having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, read our article on how to fix an Xbox that won’t connect to Wi-Fi.

    • Once the console is off, unplug all of its cables
    • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds more to drain all of the power
    • Go to your router, and disconnect all of its cables for 10 seconds
    • Plug back the router
    • Check Billing And Server Status

Here, you come to the right place. This post will walk you through how to fix the issue Xbox Game Pass PC not working. You can refer to the following solution to solve it.

Xbox Game Pass For Pc Meet Pc Game Pass

First, the background. Xbox Game Pass for PC is now PC Game Pass, which Microsoft revealed through a tongue-in-cheek trailer at The Game Awards. Its about how everyone associates Game Pass with consoles and ignores the PC portion.

Thats true. Game Pass is now synonymous with Xbox. Although Microsoft offers PC Game Pass alone, most people are getting it through a Game Pass Ultimate subscription . Ive had a few friends this year get into PC gaming, totally unaware that they could access hundreds of games for a few bucks each month.

Its enough of an issue, at least, that Microsoft decided to make a trailer about it for The Game Awards. Ive used PC Game Pass since it launched, and I can tell you that the name isnt and never was the problem.

The Problem Is The Xbox App

Xbox Game Pass Will Let You Play Crusader Kings 3 In Australia

The problem with PC Game Pass is the Xbox app. Ive used PC Game Pass since it launched two years ago, and the Xbox app has always been the most consistent pain point. Its prone to bugs, horribly disorganized, and missing essential features that make platforms like Steam tick.

Disorganization is the silent killer. The filters thatsearch through Game Pass massive library dont work. I like to switch between my Xbox and my PC, so Ive grown attached to Xboxs Play Anywhere games . Only a fraction of the Play Anywhere games show up with the filter, even though a good chunk of the library supports Play Anywhere.

Microsoft uses tags to note the capabilities of each game, but they dont filter those games in the results. A lot of the tags dont make sense, either. For example, you can filter by 60fps+ capabilities, but youll only find five games. Why is this a filter on a PC? And more importantly, why does it only include five games?

These issues are just a small sample of the larger quality of life problems plaguing the Xbox app. You cant see your playtime or organize your installed games into groups. And you cant move your installation folder or see what the latest patches are for your games. The tagging system would help on the quality of life front, but not when half of the library is mismarked

The bugs and updates are what kill the Xbox app for me, though. Heres a small sampling of the bugs Ive encountered across versions:

Set Your Xbox To Home For Your Account

If you play across an array of Xbox consoles with your account, you can let Microsoft know which one is your primary console by making it your home Xbox. Once you make a console your home Xbox, everyone on that console can use the content you’ve purchased. This means others on that Xbox can play the games you’ve bought, or enjoy your Game Pass subscription on their own accounts, so long as they play on that console.

This also makes Xbox more friendly towards offline gaming. Other accounts can use the stuff you’ve purchased without the need for you to be constantly active on the console. This simple trick also often fixes the “The person who bought this needs to sign in.” error.

    • Sign in with the account on your Xbox.
    • Go to Settings and then go to Personalization.
    • Select My home Xbox.

What Pc Game Pass Is Doing Right

I dont want to disparage Microsoft. Over the past two years, Ive seen PC Game Pass grow from an extra perk on Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions to a platform worthy of its own subscription. Its fantastic, and I want to see Microsoft continue building on what its already doing right.

Most games used to only come to the console version, but now its rare to find a Game Pass title that isnt on PC as well. EA Play is a great addition, too, allowing you to play a massive list of EA games on PC without a separate subscription .

Microsoft has clearly focused on expanding Play Anywhere, too. Halo Infinite, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon are a few recent examples of games Ive played across console and PC through Play Anywhere. This is a great program, and it demonstrates that Microsoft knows what enthusiasts with both a console and PC want.

Issues with bugs, disorganization, and quality of life issues wont go away tomorrow. And right now, some games are still exclusive to console, plus theres a long list of titles that dont support Play Anywhere. The difference is that Microsoft is constantly improving on the game front.

For almost three years, Ive seen the same bugs and issues time and again. Im not asking Microsoft to fix the Xbox app tomorrow, just to put a foot forward to ship new features, fix long-standing issues, and make the app feel more like a destination for PC gaming. That would do more for the service than a rebrand.
