Xbox and Turtle Rock Studios have announced that gory multiplayer shooter Back 4 Blood will be set to spill the claret on Xbox Game Pass from day one. The Left 4 Dead successor leads a new lineup of titles joining the subscription service in October.
Back 4 Blood will arrive on Xbox Game Pass October 12, day-and-date with its launch on PC and PlayStation platforms. And its not the only shooter coming to the service that day, as Bungies sci-fi expansion Destiny 2: Beyond Light will also be made available to Game Pass subscribers. Just two days later, on October 14, Game Pass will welcome Twice Differents creepy-but-colorful roguelike, Ring of Pain, as well as Exor Studios base-building mech battler The Riftbreaker. For those of you who prefer your murder and mayhem on the quainter side, then mark your calendars for October 15, which sees the long-awaited arrival of the mysterious debt management title, The Good Life. Will Back 4 Blood Have Dlc
Absolutely! Turtle Rock intends to support Back 4 Blood in the long term with both paid and free DLC. As part of their commitment to ensuring simple and fluid co-op, if you play with your friends who own DLC, you will not be locked out of the lobby.
That’s right, only one player in a lobby needs to own any DLC for everyone to be able to play it!

Can I Play Back 4 Blood In Single
Yes! The game includes a Solo Campaign option, which allows you to play with bots. However, the big caveat for now is that progression is severely limited by choosing this option, so you’ll ideally want to play online where possible.
That said, developer Turtle Rock Studios has promised to “address the issue” surrounding Solo Campaign progression in the near future, so hopefully the mode will achieve parity with the multiplayer component before long.
Keep in mind that you still need to be connected online to play Solo Campaign mode in Back 4 Blood.
Back 4 Blood Could Come To Xbox Game Pass At Launch
According to a leak, Back 4 Blood will seemingly be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one this October, showing Xbox is bullish on its popular service.
A leaked description for a new look at Back 4 Blood seems to suggest the zombie slaughter simulator will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. There’s no confirmation for this quite yet, but given it’s part of an official description for Back 4 Blood, that seemed to leak out early, but it seems likely that it will come to Xbox Game Pass given Microsoft’s aggressive strategy.
It has been heavily hinted at that Battlefield 2042 will be on Xbox Game Pass when it launches this October. It’s nothing but teases, rumors, and speculation, but it’s not terribly outlandish. Xbox has been snatching up major titles for Xbox Game Pass over the last year with many big name titles coming to the service on day one. It not only increases Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, but if Microsoft gets enough big titles, it could start to sway people to buy an Xbox Series X.
Reddit user EricKillMongerz snapped a screenshot of an upcoming Back 4 Blood livestream’s description where it said the game would be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch. Of course, this could be a typo or error, but it’s a rather egregious error to make. It’s possible Xbox will be announcing this at its own showcase, but it’s not clear.

Back 4 Blood Not On Game Pass/failed To Sign In
Upon release, some players have reported that the game isnt appearing on their Game Pass, or that theyre greeted with an error message when trying to sign in.
The simple fix for this is to run the game via the Microsoft Store, which is available in the Start menu on PCs. For consoles, youll want to hard restart holding down the power button for 10 seconds if youre having issues.
tks, resolved. Exit game, Start menu, search and open Microsoft store, click back4blood. It will Auto Update. I spent an hour looking for a solution

The common wisdom surrounding Xbox Game Pass is that its great, but it will destroy game sales. And yet, we can definitely seen evidence to the contrary from this past year. That includes in the October game report from industry-tracking firm The NPD Group, which listed cooperative zombie shooter Back 4 Blood as the No. 2 best-selling game on both PlayStation and Xbox platforms.
That Xbox ranking is especially odd. According to the accepted wisdom, you would expect most people to play Back 4 Blood through Game Pass and then simply purchase another release, like Guardians of the Galaxy with that money. But thats not what happened, and this isnt even some fluke. This exact scenario played out before.
Back in April, Square Enixs multiplayer online shooter Outriders debuted on Xbox and PlayStation. The game, like Back 4 Blood, was available on Game Pass on day one. Despite that availability, Outriders was the No. 3 best-selling game on both Xbox and PlayStation for the March NPD .

Two Big Coop And Pvp Multiplayer Games To Be Added To Xbox Game Pass Soon
Coming soon to Xbox Game Pass includes the purported Left 4 Dead successor Back 4 Blood as well as Destiny 2 with its most recent DLC, Beyond Light. In addition, there are a host of indie games coming in addition to these two big releases, including the strategy based Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.
The two biggest games being added to Xbox Game Pass are of course Back 4 Blood and Destiny 2. Back 4 Blood is an upcoming coop zombie shooter game made by former devs of the Left 4 Dead games. As such, it is hailed as Left 4 Deads successor, as Valve does not seem to be interested in releasing any major sequel to any of their games. However, unlike Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood will have minor card collection elements as well as a PvP gamemode.
Destiny 2, on the other hand, will arrive with its most recent DLC, Beyond Light. As Destiny 2 is a free to play game with a live service yearly subscription model, the release on Xbox Game Pass will mean you can catch up on all the latest Destiny content before The Witch Queen releases early next year. Destiny 2 The Witch Queen is halfway through its final DLC, Season of the Lost, which will run through February 22, 2022 before The Witch Queen releases.

Back 4 Blood: Is It Available On Xbox Game Pass
Is Back 4 Blood available on Xbox Game Pass? We have the answer!
Back 4 Blood is a cooperative first-person shooter from Turtle Rock Studios. You will need to gear up as one of The Cleaners to take on hordes of zombie-like creatures called The Ridden. You are responsible for fighting back against the infection that has taken hold of the entire world. However, if you are an Xbox owner there is a crucial question we are about to answer – is it available on game pass?
Is Back 4 Blood Getting Any Post
Like many other games, Back 4 Blood will be getting post-launch support in the form of paid DLC. However, unlike every other game, Turtle Rock Studios is enabling something pretty cool for players.
To check out the DLC, only the party leader needs to have purchased the additional content, including campaigns, characters, and more. As a result, everyone else can reap the benefits.
“In PvE, if your party leader owns a paid content drop, you will be able to play that content with them â including maps, gameplay and campaign. No separation. No exclusion. No split.”

The Much Awaited Left 4 Dead Sequel
When the CEO of Microsoft comes and tells you they are all-in on gaming, you better believe it! Because it seems the much-awaited Back 4 Blood is coming to Xbox Game Pass day one. There havent been any official announcements about this yet, but Reddit user u/JohnTLH spotted this on the games pre-stream description on YouTube.
Back 4 Bloods pre-stream was going to go live in a couple of days during its official E3 reveal. That stream has been taken down now, probably owing to the fact that its Game Pass inclusion was to be revealed at a later date. Thankfully, JohnTLH was able to grab a screenshot before the video was made private. Back 4 Bloods arrival on Game Pass on launch certainly gives Microsoft some bragging rights over rivals. The game also stands to benefit from a strong player base, as we have seen with other live-service games on Game Pass.
