Set Up Your Scene And Start Streaming

Stream To Twitch On Xbox Series X/S – Best Settings For Gamers!

Back on the main OBS screen, delete everything under the tab by selecting a source and clicking the Minus button at the bottom of the section. You should already have a scene by default, but if you dont, select the Plus icon under the Scenes tab.

Select the Plus icon under the tab next, then select Video Capture Device. Give the source a name, then click OK. OBS will then show you a menu where you can select your capture card and configure its output.

From this point, you can customize your stream however you see fit. Simply add new sources, move them around your preview window, and segment them into scenes to quickly switch between. When you have a setup you like, click Start Streaming to go live.

If you dont care much for setting up your own scene, we recommend downloading Streamlabs OBS instead of OBS Studio. It comes with a number of templates that you can use to set up your stream in minutes.

How To Stream With Microphone And Camera On Twitch

Before you start a stream on Twitch from an Xbox One gaming console you can add a webcam and a microphone to your stream. Insert And Modify Overlays In Twitch Studio

    Xbox One Twitch Setup Guide

Twitch Studio offers some overlay templates for a quick start, but if you want something individual, you can easily create it.

Once you have chosen a complete package from our store, you will have several files with different functions at your disposal. First of all you have to set up your overlays. In the next paragraph we show you how to integrate alerts, sounds and badges.

Save your overlay files in a separate folder for ease of use. Then go to Twitch Studio and click on the + on the left under “Stream Layout”. This will create a new layout that you can rename with a right click. Since you will have different layouts for different stream content later, you should do the same for clarity. For example, start with your start layout.

Now right-click again on “Layout” or on the name you renamed. Then go to “Edit”.

At first you will see a black window. To change this, click on the + next to “Layers” in the left menu. You will then see a selection of different layers that you can integrate. For the start overlay, select “Image” and then go to “Browse” under “Image file” in the left menu.

Now choose the appropriate overlay from the folder you created at the beginning where you saved the overlay files from the Stream Design complete package. Afterwards it appears in the media library. Click on it and go to “Select”. As easy as it is to integrate an overlay into Twitch Studio, it is also easy to edit other points.
