Rainbow Six Extraction Coming To Xbox Game Pass Day One

Marvel’s Avengers Is Coming to Xbox Game Pass Really Soon – IGN Daily Fix

Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one, Ubisoft and Microsoft, have revealed. The co-op FPS will be available to subscribers on January 20. Rather than focus on realistic battles between squads, the spin-off deals with an alien invading force.

Ubisoft’s Chris Early said the decision to bring Extraction to Game Pass at launch is meant to demonstrate how Ubisoft sees the “value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players.”

Extraction won’t be the only Rainbow Six game on Game Pass, as Siege will be added to PC Game Pass on January 20, while the Xbox Game Pass version for console sees its availability period extended, though Ubisoft did not say for how long.

For players who want to buy Extraction outright, it will be available for $40 USD. It comes with two “Buddy Pass” tokens that let you play with friends for up to 14 days across platforms. All progress during this period for the free players will carry over if they decide to buy the game outright.

Ubisoft also announced today that its subscription service, Ubisoft+, is coming to Xbox “soon.” This offering includes a catalog of more than 100 Ubisoft games, along with other in-game content and perks. The service is already available on PC, Stadia, and Luna.

Xbox Game Pass Has 31 Day One Games Confirmed For 2022

Pure Xbox noted that it has already been confirmed that there will be 31 Day One games confirmed for 2022 for the Xbox game pass. There are plenty of game discoveries coming in 2022, all of which will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day. Some of the 2022 day ones include Weird West, Starfield, Total War: Warhammer 3, Sniper Elite 5, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Slime Rancher 2, Redfall, Hello Neighbor 2, and Atomic Heart. Xbox has confirmed that January 2022 games include Aground, NeuroVoider, Windjammers 2, Radiant Silvergun, and Space Invaders Infinity Gene.

If any of these games are in your queue, now is the time to play them before they disappear. New games will be added and removed throughout the year, and Microsoft will always notify you when games are removed from their library. These are just games that show up on day one, and the Xbox is already regularly reshuffling the game library and some of the release dates are not finalized.

Stalker : Heart Of Chernobyl

Every game Microsoft just said was coming to Xbox Game ...

While fans wait for the sequel, there are several great games similar to the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R trilogy they can try, but many are excited to re-explore Chernobyl Exclusion Zones and its physics-defying anomalies. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2‘s developer, GSC Gameworld, have announced the game will be released on 28th April 2022, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

      Halo Infinite New Content

It’s fair to say that most Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be focused on full-fledged brand new games that are added to the service, but that’s not the whole story when it comes to what the service has to offer in 2022. Even though Halo Infinite‘s release date is December 8 and it will be out before the new year arrives, the game will have plenty of new content added to it throughout 2022, including some fan favorite features that were unable to make the cut for launch.

343 Industries has confirmed that it plans on adding co-op to the Halo Infinite campaign as well as the Forge Mode editor to multiplayer at some point in 2022. This content will arrive as part of Halo Infinite‘s regular new seasonal content drops, which should go a long way in keeping fans engaged with the live-service game for the long-term. While Halo Infinite‘s Tech Preview tests have been impressive, it usually takes at least a little bit of time for these live service games to find their footing, so expect Halo Infinite to really get going in 2022. And with Xbox Game Pass, subscribers can experience it all without actually having to pay full price for the game itself.
