First Things First: Update Your Xbox App
To manage the location of game files, you need the latest versions of the Xbox and Gaming Services apps. You can check to see if your system is already up to date within the Xbox app. Click on your profile icon, then head to Settings > About to see the version info.
The Xbox app should be version 2202.1001.9.0 or higher, while the Gaming Services app should be 3.63.8003.0 or higher.
If you have older versions, open the Microsoft Store app, then click on the Library icon in the left navbar. Check for any updates to the Microsoft Store app and install those first.
Next, install any pending updates for the Xbox and Gaming Services apps. After they finish, click on the Get updates button in the upper-right corner to verify no further updates are needed.

Xbox finally announced the games that are coming to Xbox Game Pass in the final days of June. Most of the titles it revealed had previously been confirmed for the service. However, there is at least one surprise: Far Cry 5 is joining the service.
The first games joining Game Pass today are the Shadowrun Trilogy and Total War: Three Kingdoms for PC. The rereleased trilogy, which includes Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun Dragonfall: Directors Cut, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong, also launches on Switch and PlayStation today. Xbox Wire notes that another PC game joined console vis a vis Game Pass this month: Omori.
Two more games join Game Pass on June 23: Naraka Bladepoint and FIFA 22. Naraka Bladepoints Game Pass launch got a special mention in the Xbox showcase. The final addition is Far Cry 5, which joins Game Pass on July 1. Our bimonthly sacrifices are FIFA 20, Jurassic World: Evolution, Last Stop, and MotoGP 20.
The company likely delayed the announcement because of plethora of reveals made last week by Xbox and Bethesda. While the company didnt announce much specifically for June, it did reveal its slate of Game Pass launches for the next year. Some of those set for 2022 include Pentiment, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and several Persona titles.

Remnant: From The Ashes
Remnant: From the Ashes is Dark Souls by way of Gears of War. Instead of animation-locked melee combat like in FromSoftwares titles, Remnant From the Ashes is a third-person shooter with a unique roster of bizarre guns. But despite the games much longer combat range, it manages to replicate the tension of the hyper-difficult games its developers were clearly inspired by. Its punishing, and you only have so many swigs of your health potion before you go down for good.
Remnant From the Ashes is for more than just masochists, though. As a game you can optionally play in co-op, it offers a major difficulty step up from playing Gears of War on the couch with your buddies. Each player is able to customize their loadout to help the group succeed. And when youre working together with your partner, it delivers one of the best campaign multiplayer experiences in recent memory.

Xbox Game Pass Vs Ultimate: At A Glance
At first glance, Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate may seem to offer the same thing. And in many ways, they do.
Both are subscription services that unlock a variety of AAA and indie games for one low monthly fee. The major difference is where you can play these games, and what extra features are included.
Its also worth keeping in mind that there are actually three services here: Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The first is just for the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Series X consoles. The second option is just for Windows PC games, and the third includes both and more. Much more, in fact.
